A tributary to the scenic and historic Black River, this secluded stream was frequented by General Francis Marion during his campaign against the British. Blackwater Adventures offers unique full-day and half-day tours on this interesting stream.
Riverside lodging is available May - September for groups who desire creature comforts at The Backwoods Quail Club. Also sporting clays, trap, and skeet shooting are available as evening entertainment.
